On Tuesday, October 30th The Partnership will again participate in National Weatherization Day to highlight the benefits of Weatherization programs supported by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program (LIWAP).  The Partnership's Weatherization leaders and contractors will be on site on Danville Road for a full day of Weatherization and home clean-up activities.  The day will conclude with remarks from Partnership leaders, the Chairman of the Board, and invited guests.

In 2017, The Partnership's Energy Division, which includes Weatherization and Rehab, served 35 families at an average of $6,873 per family to weatherize their homes through LIWAP and DOE funds.  Another $43,213 was expended through funding from Regions Bank and NeighborWorks America^® for another 8 families, in addition to the $22,051 expended for the 2017 Weatherization Day project.
