Weatherization

All Partnership Weatherization programs provide energy conservation improvements that reduce energy consumption by an average of 30% per household. These programs serve households that meet established income guidelines in Morgan, Lawrence, Cullman, Marion, Walker and Winston counties.

Energy Director

DOE/LIWAP Weatherization Program

Our Weatherization Programs are funded through grants received from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the form of two grants: the Department of Energy (DOE) grant and the Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program (LIWAP) grant.  Both grants require the completion of an application and meeting specific income guidelines.

Energy conservation measures are performed on homes of approved income-eligible applicants.  Reducing air infiltration, insulating the home and performing other energy conservation measures are conducted on homes at no cost to the homeowner.

Disaster Rehab Program
