The Partnership's Parents as Teachers (PAT) Program has been asked by the state of Alabama extend the program service area to include 10 families from Lamar County.  The addition of Lamar County will extend the Partnership's Home Visiting Services to 140 PAT families and 24 EHS families.  Board approval to expand the PAT service area into Lamar County was received at the August 24th Board meeting.  Program leaders Dee Ard and Alicia Thurmond have expressed their excitement and feelings of honor for the opportunity to serve the additional families with the PAT Home Visiting Program.
