Each year our friends at The Decatur Daily highlight our Meals on Wheels & More program and the benefits it provides to the residents of Morgan County.  Now more than ever Meals on Wheels & More is seeking both volunteers and donations to keep the program functioning at its current level.  While the program receives annual funding from United Way of Morgan County, that funding provides only 35% of the annual budget of about $300,000.  Without sufficient funding and volunteers to provide the home-delivery service to its clients, Meals on Wheels and More will be forced to reduce its client list to avoid pushing the program into a funding deficit.  This year's Daily story highlights the efforts of one volunteer, Ron Shepherd, and how his contributions make a difference in the lives of those he serves.
